Firstly, I have to say how sorry I am for abandoning this blog for nearly a whole year. I can truly say that the last year has been one of the busiest in my short 18 years on the planet. The combination of A-levels and university visits/interviews made sure of my lack of time to do anything else but sleep, shower and eat.

So a little update on what is happening in my life. I got accepted into Edinburgh University in August for Textile Design. A very surreal moment for me that’s for sure. I moved up to Edinburgh at the beginning of September and have been settling in since then. The city is beautiful and the degree is as creative as I thought it would be. Of course, moving to a new city is challenging especially when you are technically in another country, but I slowly getting used to it and I am now looking forward to the next semester ahead.

As one of my New Year’s Resolutions, I have decided to restart my blog and document my projects at the university as well as any interesting exhibitions, art galleries or just general things that I am up to.
