For this project, I wanted to find colours in more obscure way than what I usually do. Actually, I don’t know what I usually do!

Anyway, for this scarf project I was inspired by the doorways of Edinburgh. Whenever people think about Edinburgh, they always comment about the grey weather. However, around the city, there are pops of colour, especially in the doors.

While running around the city, I decided to just take some photos of these door ways and create my colour palette.

I also had a look at the Pantone trends online. We don’t have access to WGSN at the moment, so we have to look at colour trends from different sources.

There we have it. My colour research for this very exciting Strathberry project. Let’s see where it goes!
